DeKalb Wesleyan and Vida Nueva of DeKalb recognize that Jesus’ ethnical imperative of the church is to be a house of prayer for ‘ALL NATIONS’ (Mark 11:17). In quoting the Prophet Joel, Peter said that in the last days God will pour out His Spirit on ALL PEOPLE (Acts 2:17).
So starting Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015 we will begin to become ‘TWO LANGUAGES’ but ‘ONE CHURCH’ serving the same GOD by choosing to no longer reach out to our own separate ‘tribes’, but by choosing to become a Multi-Cultural ministry that reaches out the world.
Our celebration will begin at 9am with an Easter Breakfast, followed by a combined multi-cultural worship celebration at 10:30am.
Moving forward: Starting Sunday, April 12, 2015 our English Speaking Service will be held at 10am and our Spanish Speaking Service will be held at 1pm.
